-- Top and bottom of case out of whack (http://discussion.visorcentral.com/vcforum/showthread.php?threadid=3113)
After treating my BVD with the greatest care and tenderness, it was recently dropped onto my kitchen table (from a distance of about 8 inches, mind you) and now the top blue cover and the bottom ice backing are very slightly out of alignment. The Visor still works fine and syncs fine, but if you run your finger over the side you can feel that the blue cover protrudes over the ice backing by the thickness of a fingernail or so. Has anyone tried unscrewing their covers to re-align the top cover and the bottom cover? Any ideas of what kind of screwdriver to use? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
In case you haven't seen it yet, someone's responded to your inquiry on the "Fix Loose Screens" thread...
thanks leojbramble. I guess I will have to get brave enough to attempt the surgery!
