Question Volkswagen PDA Console

Has anyone here heard of this product from Volkswagen?

From their website...

"Personal Electronics Console US $107.35"

"The personal electronics console seamlessly attaches to the center console of the dash. The console is a mount for your mobile phone, PDA, or other personal electronic holder, to keep everything in clear vision and within easy reach. Palm VII.x not included. "

I'm wondering how well it works with any of the Visors...but in particular a Prism with the Sprint PCS Digital Link. I have a terrible time trying to fiddle with my Visor when the phone rings...and I usually end up ignoring the phone. But I was thinking if the headset was in with this console, that would help a lot. It would also help when I download directions to places I'm going and not have to try to hold the Prisim while driving...especially since I drive a manual transmission.

It looks cool...but I'm wondering how well it works.

Passat?

If I remember correctly, the mount pictured is for the Passat only. I have a New Jetta, and the center console is such that a mount of this type/location would interfere with the glove box.

The idea of a mount matching the interior design is nice, though. All you'd need is a blue backlight for the Handspring.

If you own a Passat, you're set.

Jetta.

Well, I have a Jetta. But when you go to the VW web site and "click" through the Jetta accessories page, this PDA console comes up. I further went into the site and found that no matter what car you choose, this comes up...but with the same picture. That seems very odd.
