-- Handspring Add-On & Accessories Catalog (http://discussion.visorcentral.com/vcforum/showthread.php?threadid=9178)
Did anyone else get a cute little catalog from Handspring today? It's filled with every possible product to attach to your Visor even - gasp - the InnoGear SixPak Combo!
That's right, boys and girls, InnoGear is still taunting us with the promise of this great Springboard. One interesting thing...in the list of "features" it only mentions "Memory upgrade." It doesn't tout the originally promised 8 meg upgrade.
Well, it's great to see everything that's been developed for this platform presented in this way. I imagine that folks who don't follow this will be surprised about how much there is. So much for the "vaporware" charges that some like to level against the Springboards!

I was scratching my head about that one too Hoser.
Come on guys, lighten up! The point of the post was to "hail" all the various Springboards out there and to point out the appearance of the ONE "vaporware" Springboard, the infamous Sixpack.

I bet you $20
I bet you $20 its not vaporware. So what, they pushed the realese date back....what company doesn't? Just wait a little while and it will come out soon enough. Maybe they ran into a problem, would you rather have them realese it now with a unfixable by software problem and force you to send it back to them for a fix, thats pretty annoying. So just sit down, calm down, and stop accusing it of being a vaporware product.

(Make that bet a stowaway)

BrianX124 it is obvious that you have *just* joined the forums here and have not seen the posts related to the 6-pack. It is also obvious you have only been a visor owner (if you are an owner) for a very short time. Had you been around for a while you would know that the 6-pack was announced over a year ago and was initially supposed to be available at the beginning of the year. Vaporgear has announced release date after release date but has not yet released the product. They have changed their release date more often than I or anyone else could hope to remember.
Before you go standing up for someone or something make sure you know what you are standing for. In this case you have NO leg to stand on.
I've said it before, I'll say it again...

Slacker,
You obviously don't own anything made by InnoGear unless you have the GoType keyboard. I know, it says Landware on it, but it was co-developed with InnoGear. I have the MiniJam and it rocks! They are supposed to have the upgrade to allow storage of non music files on the mmc card by Jan.
I hope it's true. I could use an extra 16M of storage and still have 64M of music. Just because you're impatient, doesn't mean the company is a flop. I, too am waiting for the SixPack. I just hope it's not too expensive.

Back when it was announced, it was estimated to cost $200. I don't think that projection has changed.

In an e-mail to those that have expressed interest on Innogear's web page they state that the price for the Six-Pack will be $199 when it comes out.
I still believe that it will come out, but my money is on the reduced memory upgrade. I too noticed that they changed the wording from 8MB upgrade to a memory upgrade, and in light of the flash memory "shortages" I think Innogear is hedging a bit.

Alright..say whatever. I have been a visor owner for over a year and have stayed up to date. Say what you want but you all owe me $20 when you buy your six pack.
