Two thoughts:

Perhaps the 11th Commandment should have been a statute of limitations.

If someone "plundered" a dollars worth of bread, 3300 years of 5% interest (let alone penalties and punitive damages) that would be $8,828,282,662,179,430,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 now. Or about 8.8 duovigintillion. According to my excel.
