but not with visor.

The efig.com diagnostics module serves this purpose (I use it all the time with my Sprint cellphone). I use it with my Garmin GPS and with an external 56K modem. I also use it as a terminal emulator. With all this capability, it was worth the money to me.

Yea, the Efig thing looks great. I
wouldn't use anything but the serial port,
however... It would be interesting to hear what folks have been doing with theirs.

I emailed Efig and asked if they had any plans to offer a "serial-only" module. Their reply was that they were working on a "consumer version". Maybe if enough people email them ( [email protected] ), it will become a reality.

It seems to me that a serial-port Springboard would be a hot-selling item that shouldn't be too expensive (for both the manufacturer and the consumer).

Cool

I also e-mailed EFIG about a "serial only" SpringBoard to [email protected], but I have not received a reply. (6/1/00 - Yep, they are working on a "Consumer Version")

Hopefully it comes out quickly.

Carl

i emailed innogear. i figured a serial connection and some extra memory would make a good 2v module. i didn't get a reply back.
