-- which upgrade??? (http://discussion.visorcentral.com/vcforum/showthread.php?threadid=18191)

which upgrade???

I downloaded and installed Palm 4.0.1 when it was announced recently in the Visor Central message.
It works fine and no problems doing a Hot Synch etc.

Now, last week I see the announcement that Visor has just released the 3.5.2 V1.5 for the Platinum.

My question is -- should I use the 3.5.2 upgrade or the 4.0.1

Suggestions, comments, etc?

Thanks,

Mike Raphael

The 3.5.2 v1.5 upgrade is a patch for the OS on the Platinum itself, not the desktop software. They are two seperate entities.

Thumbs up

Thanks Mark for the insight.
Us 'technically challenged or non-genius' get confused.

So, if I understand your comment:

I've downloaded and installed new desktop software. (Palm 4.0.1).

Now I should download and install the Handspring 3.5.2 v.1.5 upgrade and install that also?

Thanks for the assurance.

Yes, and the 3.5.2 updater is a PRC file that you run on the Visor.
