What is this VDx cable for?

I just uncovered a Handspring-made cable accessory that came with my VDx many moons ago, and have no idea what it's for. It's about 6" long, with a serial connection on one end, and one of those cylindrical connectors like a mouse plug on the other end (sorry don't know what those are called). Can someone refresh my memory? Also, anyone know where to find VDx user manual online? I lost my original CD.

User guide is on this page:
http://support.handspring.com/esupp...Type=UserGuides
search on the page for "deluxe" and you should find it.

I've never heard of this cable. My VDx didn't come with it.

IIRC, that's a Mac serial adapter cable for use with a serial cradle.

Thanks, both of you, for the info. Funny, the VDx manual didn't even mention the adapter... Oh, well, if it's for Mac, it's nothing I can use...

Yepper, that's the one! Thanks for finding that and confirming.

Well, if anyone needs one, it's yours for the cost of postage...
