Rechargeable Battery Life
Mobile (cellular) phones have chargeable batteries similar to the one in Visor Edge. However, after a certain period of usage, these rechargeable batteries need to be replaced. Usually, it is recommended not to recharge until the battery is almost empty.
Does anybody have any recommendation for the frequency of charging for Visor Edge?
From everything I've heard, lithium ion batteries should be topped off on a fairly regular basis (once a day in my case). LIon batteries are not like NiCad or NiMH batteries which should be fully discharged as much as possible. This will supposedly damage LIon batteries if done often enough. So, basically, topping the battery off once every 1-3 days (depending on how heavily you use it) would be the best course to get the most life out of them.
I'd just point out that if your cell phone is using a LIon, it needs to be topped off frequently (the same as the edge). From what I've seen, most cell phone batteries are NiHH or NiCad.
