my laptop modem is allegedly a xircom on port 5. these are not among palm desktop setup choices, resulting in com port # not found mesg. any fix?

This is a link to 3com's web site. This is an update of the hotsync manager that supports other ports other than 1-4.

I haven't tried this. That's just what the web site says. Let us know...
