Total Recall and Edge

Got my Total Recall voice recorder today, but it doesn't work. When I put it in the slot, the screen refreshes, but no new software shows up. I tried it in my friend's Prism today, no luck. Any ideas what's wrong? I turned hacks off, soft resetted, got out of SilverScreen, but nothing...

My new Total Recall works fine. Look for the microphone icon. Also, do you have it in there all the way? I had that problem at first and that was the problem.

I know what to look for. I've pushed it in as far as possible? You have an edge too right? Any ideas? Maybe the CF Module software? I turned VFSHelper off, and deleted FALibrary, but still no luck...errrr

Bummer dude. Glad I sent the reciept along. OD has a very good return policy.

Does the unit work as a stand-alone?

Yea, it works as a stand alone, I recorded some stuff, but that's not the reason I got it for!!! To use with the Visor and sync it to my computer...Yea, thanks, I saw the reciept. Maybe it's not the module? My Edge is pretty messed up...haha

Anyone have similar problems? The software not showing up when you load it?

It's defective and you need to return it.

It worked in my friend's Visor Deluxe, maybe its defective with OS 3.5? Because it wouldn't work on my friend's Prism. Errr, will Office Depot even HAVE anymore of these? Let alone, how am I gonna get there....grrrr.

I almost bought one today at office depot since it's only 12.99. The one I went sold out so I guess I will probably go to another which has 5 more left.

Some office depot still has this for 12.99.
