Angry

I just went through the (almost weekly!) proccess of hard-reseting my VDX, and this time it was not a problem, but an oddity.

I started my VDX one morining, and it was in a previously launched app. I tapped the "Applications" button, expecting to be greeted by the Applications (duh), but all I saw was some sort of strange window. It had a borger arround it, no date/time/battery in the top, and there was a new button called "Exit Applications." This button took me to the REGULAR applications screen. This crazy thing ALWAYS launched when I hit the "home" button, and never went away! It had no menubar, no title, just a bland listing of apps.

It bothered me SO much, I ended up hard reseting to make it go away. Some of my freinds have had the same problem. What is it, and how can I track it down and destroy it so it can never happen again!

Are you, or have you, used any 3rd party launchers? I remember reading something about one of them (Launch Em?) reverting to some old, original (OS 1 or something), launcher screen. And if memory serves me correct, you need to reload the 3rd party launcher and then set one of its options back to "use default" or someting like that. I tried searching for it by came up empty.

I use a hack for quick-launch of apps, but there's nothing there about the Applications button or such. I use SilverScreen now, but it's also happened before I got Silver.
