Question

Since installing Omnisky...I have been using the Omnisky browser...Is there any value of having BOTH OmniSky AND AvantGo installed??

How does the OSMail compare to other packages...ThinAir, Multimail, etc?

Finally, is there any harm in deleting some of the Omnisky software from the Visor...i.e. Yahoo Messanger and OSMail?

Thanks
MS

Other than Avantgo being in color there is not enough difference in my mind between the two browsers.

You can delete the OSMail program but you will lose the "notification" feature which is the advantage of the OSMail program over the others - I believe.

Being a beta tester with a Palm unit I'd suggest that you send a note to Omnisky tech/sales support and ask them for any features that you might want. From the beta version to the first public version 1.0 there were major changes/improvements to the interface.

With Omnisky advancing rapidly into other venues including (I can't believe I'm about to type this) Windows CE (ugh!) then they will refine the product very rapidly. Version 2.0 is a walking example - it was released about 4 months after they first went fully public and about 9 months after the beta was done.

I'm not really trying to sway anyone away from any other program, heavens with 100,000 Palm OS developers out there they must be creating programs that appeal to people. My statements here are strictly informative that Omnisky is a rapidly developing provider that is very progressive and responsive.

Thanks for listening.
