Don't believe the hype

Been looking at the Roadrunner site for two years now, it always says that cable modem service isn't available at my place. I called yesterday because they put a flier in my mailbox offering free cable for three months. Mmmmm. Cable TV=Cable net. I called and it turns out that the service used to be installed here! I have spent two years in dialup hell because of this website...
