Question

Does anyone have any experience with any of the products available for synching calendars with Lotus Notes?

One of the key reasons I want a PDA / Visor is to keep all the various calendars in my life in one place - it is essential that I can synch calendars with Lotus Notes (V4.6).

I've read the product info on Lotus' EasySync and IntelliSync - and on paper EasySync, although pricey, looks great.

However, I have seen two reviews by users that had problems with EasySync, and one friend with a new PalmV that has had problems with Intellisync.

Any other experience out there to help me make a good decision?

Thanks!

Rusty

Rusty,

One of my co-workers has an extensive contact database in Lotus (don't know version) and he is able to sync it with his IIIx. He uses a conduit (again, not sure which one, sorry) that was freeware and it syncs great, from what he says. If I find out what the conduit is, I will post it.

Rusty,

I've used EasySync for quite some time on my Palm Pilot, and haven't had any major problems at all.

The conduit software that Hawkeye mentioned could be "Pylon Conduit" from Globalware Computing. I haven't heard too much about that one, but the same company ALSO makes an immensely cool Palm application called "PylonPro", which lets you take a Notes application, and port it to your Palm device!

You can check out both of these applications at http://www.globalware.com

Thumbs up

Thank you both -- very reassuring... I'll be sure to let everyone know how I do getting set up and what I end up using.

Sorry for putting this topic in the wrong forum initially.
