I just got my VDx, so I don't know my way around it totally yet. I synched with my Outlook mail and it pulled all 121 messages into the VDx, I deleted all these messages from the VDx and when I re-synched with my PC, all emails were deleted from my PC Outlook. Does anyone know why, and how to keep this from happening. I tried to play with the settings for synching to not do this, but to no avail. HELP!!!

This is how mail synching works. If you delete it in the mail app on your PDA but you don't want it to be removed from the mail client on your pc, try Menu | Purge Deleted or /E on your PDA prior to HotSync.

Newbie ??? I did my first synch and now I have a ton of mail I want to delete off the visor. Is there a way to delete more than one email at a time? Thanks

BTW, I just received my IVD about an hour ago and it is great. I ordered on Friday on the Web and got it on Wed. They must have most of their shipping problems fixed.

I haven't had success with multiple deletes. What I have done is to delete (or at least clear out) my inbox, then resynch, but then again, I'm not utilizing the mail program at all in the manner in which I had hoped (meaning, if you're using it to sned mail, don't take my advice).

I use MailCleaner ($5 - registered) but it does not work well either. It facilitates multi deletions by allowing blocks of read mail to batch deleted. This works if you always want to delete all read mail. If there's any that you need to save, it works less well.

IMHO ... There is a tremendous need for a more useful eMail client. I'd love to find one.
