Question

Here is what my backup module does:

I insert the module, no problem.
Do a backup, no problem.
But when I take the module out, the screen freaks out. It doesnt matter if the visor is on or off when I take the module out. I need to do a reset to get the Visor back to normal. Backup is ok after the reset. Is this happening to anyone else?

check your hacks - those little buggers are almost always the problem. for me, it was switchhack. every time i backup now, i disable switchhack and it's all good.

hope it helps.

Yep, exact same problem for me. I haven't disabled the hacks as a remedy. I'll have to try.

Wink

Sorry..mine seems to work to perfection! But I have heard that the hacks do cause a problem.

I've taken out hackmaster and the 3 hacks I was running. popupcalc, teal echo and teal glance. I still have the problem. Is launcher III considered a hack?

Launcher III is a application, not a hack.

But Launcher III has had problems with apps that run from a Springboard Module. It may just be a matter to telling it what applications to ignore (if this is even possible). I know that this approach works with PhlegmHack (a freeware version of SwitchHack).
