-- Upgraded to Win 2000 - Can't Hotsync (http://discussion.visorcentral.com/vcforum/showthread.php?threadid=12949)
I upgraded from Win 98 SE to Windows 2000 (I can boot to either) but I can't get the Hotsync to work. I downloaded the USB registry fix, ran it, then reinstalled the desktop software. I still get no response when I try to sync.
Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?
Brad
Did you download the Win2K drivers from Handspring? I use Win2k and have no problems at all.

Sure thing ...
http://www.handspring.com/support/t..._download.jhtml
Then after entering your serial number (on inside of the battery cover) you will be shown a list of the links for the DeskTop software. (I am currently using 3.01, but 3.1 is now available.) This software supports W2K, the software that came with the Visor originally did not.

I don't know what it is, but I run into this problem fairly often. Solution is to backup Visor on backup module, hard reset, restore visor, then the flash works.
There is no need to reinstall the desktop software.
