allright! i take this glory. why do the screens scratch so easily and not the palm 3?
Actually, I've heard that all of the Palm screens suffer the same problem. That's why WriteRights were invented. People who use their Palms for doing a lot of writing say their silk screen area has been nearly wiped out with scratches. This includes the ability to use it as the scratches create ruts that the stylus gets caught in, making it difficult to do Graffiti.

The screens scratch extremely easy on all new units becuase it takes about 6 months for the screen to fully harden. With such booming sales of the pda's it is hard for the manufacturers to ofset delivery so the screen can fully harden. This same issue struck me when I bought my Pilot 5000. Palm at that time said that I should invest in a screen cover, b/c of the time it takes the screen to harden.
