Unhappy

Is there any way to transfer Microsoft Word and/or Excel documents into Outlook Notes so that when I sync my Visor small Word or Excel documents can be stored on Memo Pad in the Visor. This can be done very easily with Palm Desktop, but I use Outlook. I tried the import feature in Outlook, but all this does is ask for mapping to be done and then you get hundreds of individual notes in "Notes". I also tried to transfer a small word document into Notes, but it remained in .doc format and did not sync. Can anyone help?

There are two possible solutions (of the top of my head):
1. Use the cut and paste feature and past the text as ASCII into the Outlook notes.
2. Get a product like Documents to Go (which converts Word and Excell files into a proprietory format readible on the palm) or PalmDocs, which is an add in macro for Word that will automatically convert and install Word documents into the Palm OS Doc Reader format.

I think you'll need to use the old, trusty copy and paste method... Copy your Word or Excel data to the clipboard and then Paste it into an Outlook note. After syncing, it should appear as a Memo in the Visor.

Thank You, Thank You, Thank You, both of you. The copy/paste feature worked. Such a simple solution. I was making it more complicated than it needed to be. Again, thank you.
