-- Datebook bug? (http://discussion.visorcentral.com/vcforum/showthread.php?threadid=2209)
Hey, is anyone else experiencing this?
-Sometimes (it's random) when I make a entry in datebook, it creates the entry in the spot I want, and a ADDITIONAL, duplicate entry on the date of 1/1/2020
Can anyone verify/explain this?
That sounds like what's called a Template, but I've only seen it in the full version of DateBk3 not the DateBk+ version that ships with the Visor. I'm using the full version and if I have an appointment that occurs frequently I'll create it as a Template and it gets created on 1/1/2020. Then when I go to use it the information will get pasted into the time/date that I select. Have you possibly installed the full version or is this functionality included with the shipped version...?

Hey! You're right!
When I create a template, it "duplicates" it on 1/1/2020, and if I delete it from here, it also deletes the template. I do not have Datbook3 (I know what which program you're referring to.) I just have the stock datebook+ program. Any ideas why it does that?
I do see the template option on the standard datebook prog now (I guess I didn't use that prog too much before going to the full DateBk3 prog). I'm not sure why its creating templates at random for you when you create an new appt. Sounds really strange to me (unless you're somehow doing the "Command V" graffti stroke which makes a template...)

Wow! You got me to take a look at the menus in Date Book+. I only used it because of the enhanced views, but I'm ammazed at what i can find there. I printed out the Visor manual but haven't had time to read it yet. Now I'll have to check out the Date Book+ section. thanks!
