I recently had to reinstall software after a crash and seem to have lost the ability to sync with my powerbook by IR or Serial now. I get part of the way there but don't connect. It looks like an ID problem of some sort. I am still able to connect to my NT/Outlook at work. I'm using PalmDesktop 2.6 at home and it seems like the connect problem is on the Visor side but nothing helpful shows up in the log.
Any ideas? I've tried trashing the Palm prefs but no change.

OK, I went back and read some earlier posts and here's what happened. I turned off Appletalk (it was on another port) and tried again. I got a partial sync until HotTime came up. I then removed that conduit and tried again. I was able to complete a serial sync. I haven't tried IRLink yet but will later today.
I am running 9.04 on my powerbook as well as Palmdesktop 2.6. I hope this helps others until we get a fix from Handspring.
