Is it worth my trouble to keep checking the order status page at Handspring to see what's up with my order, or is it never going to change to indicate that the order has shipped or whatever? I've been told on the order line that my order has been "sent on to the warehouse", whatever that means....

No, the page will always say within four weeks. the page only checks if the order is in the system.

Be happy that you can get that much info, I won't even acknowledge my order eventhough CS has assured me that its in the system.
