Somehow I now feel cheated. My Platinum, with it's faster processor and better graphics and silver color makes palm and other lesser Visor owners jealous. They see me pull out my silver Platinum and KNOW I paid more for a better computer than they did.

Technology is about upgrades. I think an upgrade for a Platinum might be a metal case, or perhaps a faster processor. But make it Graphite? Sounds like a step backwards to me. I suspect they had so many returns with bad paint that they simply stuck the innards into excess Graphite cases as a way to get them back into the market without suffering the same returns. Graphite's aren't painted, as I understand it.

Now sell me a Platinum in a black case for $50 less than a silver platinum and I might get a second one. That way I can match the color of my carried platinum to my mood. Silver for superior. Black for power hungry.

I wish they'd put out a Prism in graphite - presumably the black wouldn't rub off the way the cobalt blue (or whatever the hell you call that color) does.
