Visor Edge Screen Protection

Call me strange but I kind of like my V. Edge without that cool Aluminum cover on (using the spare module slot protector). However, I know that this leaves the screen open to scratches, etc.

I have some sticky/clear vinyl (the kind that you use for decals without actually using adhesive) and I cut out a piece and placed it over the screen. Works great! However, what are your (the multi-informed visor central folks) ideas, suggestions, and the like?

Anyone ever use this stuff? I know they have screen protectors out there but this was fast, easy, and cheap (emphasis on easy).

Anyone else leave off their covers?

I had the same delimma whe I got mu VDX a few weeks ago. First I tried the olive oli trick, which I must say worked well. But recently a small burr developed on the stylus and you guessed it it scratched the grafiti area(how pissed was I).
I went to buy some protectors but a $30.00 for five I thought this was too much. I bought some overhead projector sheets and cut out some of my own. A bit fiddly but they seem to wor well. The best thing was the sheets have a smoth side and a slightly rough side which is great and feels like writing on paper.
I am considering making a commecial version of these and selling them for around $1.00 plus postage each or less for bulk orders.
What does everyone think would this be something you would be interested in??

I feel ya.

I don't use a cover or case at all. I just began using WriteRights and now all I do is toss my VPL into my messenger bag... and I'm on my way.
