installing shareware
Ok, I just replaced my palm m100 with a Visor Edge which I'm really happy about. But it didn't come with a note pad where I could scribble notes or drawings. So I went to Palmgear, found a Notepad 4.0. I downloaded it to my computer (mac os 9.1). It had no instructions for installing. I found my user backup folder with the other programs I have and put it in there.
After Hot Syncing it, it shows up on my visor only if I review my applications "info". It won't show up on my applications screen, and while viewing "info" of applications, I can't do anything other than delete it.
So here's my 2 questions-
How does one install applications to a visor edge from when you have a folder downloaded from the web on the desktop?
How can I make active the notpad ap I can see in "app info" only.
Thanks
When synced, it goes to the Unfiled folder. Look there. When you
downloaded it and unzipped it (or whatever) did you double click on the .prc file? Also, take a look at DiddleBug. Free program and
works great.
