memory Upgrade vendors

I'm going to take the plunge and upgrade my trusty Edge to 16mb. I'm tired of creative memory management.

I've read that there are two main places to get this work done- palmpilotupgrade and STNE corp. Prices for the upgrade are within a few bucks of each other and turn around seems about the same.

I know the Edge has a history of problems, but mine has worked flawlessly for the past nine months. I'm nervous about having the unit opened to upgrade, then having problems. I want to pick the upgrader carefully.

Could anyone offer any good/bad experiences with either place that might help me make the decision on which way to go?

I haven't done it yet, but I'm gonna do it soon to my Prism. I'm going to go with http://www.palmpilotupgrade.com. Just because he is in the next state over (I think :-)).

Just waiting for a refub delux to show that I an use when the prism is on vacation at the "spa".

Happy Treo 600 user, so far. Thanx Cingular for having an unlocked phone.

My Treo 600 is my phone, my PDA, my watch, and my MP3 player. Oh yeah, I take a picture once in a while with it. Convergence is such a great thing.

Tony does a 48 hr test, STNE? Both have 90 day guarantees. I have used Tony for my last 2 upgrades (Platinum to 16, Neo to 32) as he offers them before STNE does, who did my first (Solo to 8). He also takes Paypal.

My Treo has more memory than I do.

I used STNE for my Prism to 16mgs. Was very fast and have not had any trouble since. I would use them again.
