Visor - I wonder where it's made!?
Is it made in the USA or by some sort of slave labour in some IIIrd world babana country.

According to undisclosed sources, the Visor is manufactured by space aliens and highly advanced AI systems working 17 kilometers beneath the Mediterranean sea.

According to sources at Handspring, it's made in the US.

I gotta be honest: I don't care as much WHERE the Visors are being made as IF they are being made!
Of course, I've never been known as a patient waiter!

Question

Does anyone know which company is assembling the Visors for Handspring in Malaysia?

Where in Malaysia? Just look for the top 3 assembler in .my - I'm sure it will be one of them.

But I'm 100% sure you can't get one there.

You're probably right about not being able to
get a Visor from Malaysia directly. However,
your comment on looking for the top three assemblers does not really make sense. There are a lot of assemblers there. In fact, according to some, the industrial zone is bigger than Silicon Valley.

Lew, a company looking for quality will not go for 'one the many' assemblers. It will go to the top top top companies which can delivery quality.

I know that Malaysia is full of some sort of rudimentary 3 people companies assembler which never heard the term 'ISO9002'. Those shops can not delivery quality - leave allone quantity.
