I recently got a Nokia 6120. I see the phone has an infrared port...please help answer a few of my questions...

Can I beam addresses from the Visor to the 6120?

Is there anyway to connect to the Internet with the 6120?

Thank you!

Hi, unless you are in europe, the ir
screen you see on the 6120 is nothing ,
just a piece of plastic,
although you can purchase a cable at
ephones.com for the 6120 to hook up to your
pc and work with outlook,

I am renting the cell phone for use in Israel. The unit was mailed to me here in the US, but it is set up to work in Israel.(the company is UniverCell, Inc.)

Is there a way to test is the IR port is functional?

If it's a 6120, there is no IR. Are you sure it's not a 6210, though? I wasn't aware of anywhere outside of the U.S. or Canada that used that used the 6120s. The 6210 OTOH is a GSM phone that may very well have functional IR.

It is a 6120 - I rented it for use in *Israel* (A US company does the paperwork with the people in Israel, and sends me a phone that will work there.)

How can I test if the IR works?
What can I do with the IR?
