Question

I was just wondering if Palm VNC will work through a visor USB cradle? The instruction manual says it will work with a visor but did not specify which cradle. Thanks.

I don't know, but why would you want to do that? The purpose of the program is to allow you to control your computer remotely over the internet. Why would you want to control your computer with your Visor if your sitting in front of it?

Remotely

VNC lets you control computers elsewhere using IP. The big deal with USB is it can't use the Win98 Direct Cable Connection. My opinion is that it isn't possible (but I'm not counting 3rd party software).

What would be really nice is if you coule use the ActiveLink module with PalmVNC

Incorrect assumption on my use of the product. Anyway, back to the topic of "How To / Troubleshooting"...........

Thumbs up To: Tim

Tim,
Thanks for the reply. That would be great to be able to use the activelink module. Some people are using the omniremote module. One guy uses it to control his home theater MP3 Jukebox, also in his kitchen to access his recipe database. Pretty neat,
Take care.
