-- Eyemodule2 now at CompUSA (http://discussion.visorcentral.com/vcforum/showthread.php?threadid=12081)

I don't know if everyone knows this. Eyemodule's website has been listing Palmgear as the only current source for The Deuce. However, when I went into CompUSA tonight, the salesman had them fresh in the box and even said he has had them for a week. Haven't seen them advertising.

Anyone know if any of the other vendors have it yet?

Exclamation CompUSA Discount?

The eyemodule 2 is also listed on the CompUSA website, but it's backordered.

Just today on AvantGo, I caught in the corner of my eye a 10 percent discount offer on PDA accessories as the main-screen sponsor ad... but I've sinced synced and it went away. I wonder if it would have been valid for the EM2 at a retail store?

I haven't seen it on my AvGo, & I sync every nite.
Is it a partic. subsc. that has it?

BTW, Staples not only doesn't have 'em, but their sales people are totally unaware of it....

Oooh. You should have checked the "Save for Later" button on the bottom of the ad - it would have saved the coupon as a separate channel the next time you snyced. I'm wondering if you can use the discount more than once - I'm definately getting a Stowaway, but with the discount I'm very tempted to get the EM2...

Hi bkbk,

Not surprised about the Staples comment...

My CompUSA e-coupon was one of the advertisements on the My Channels (main page). Once I selected the advert., it allowed you to save it as a channel, which I did. The channel name is CompUSA Special Promotion.

Thx.

Smile

Used the 10% off coupon today for an 8mb flash module. They were pretty confused in the store but ultimately just rang up the item for the net price and went from there.

Might just go for the EM2 before this ends.

I went to AvantGo

I don't see the ad. Where will it be located. I don't see any advertising on the website.

Lightbulb

Thanks Larry,

I got the AvantGo discount. However, I was thinking about this 10% off, Did you guys pay taxes in CompUSA? I guess you did, right? If you did, then I would be paying something like 8.75% of 200 (NY tax) and then get 10% off, which will lead me to almost 200. I know some of you will feel like saving 20 bucks but I don't feel the happiness of saving since I buy most things online. For me paying shipping is much better than tax (Shame on me ..!)
Could we use this rebate online?

Al

If you were going to do an on-line purchase, go to Staples. You can get $30 off of $150 using the code 70229 (or 91212, or 91061...), bringing your total down an extra $10. BUT, you would have to wait for it. For me, the instant gratification was worth the extra 10 smackers. Also, good luck finding one that wasn't on backorder, looking at a few other posts here...

J&R Music also

J&R Music now shows the E2 as in stock on their website :

http://www.jandr.com/JRProductPage....t=Current_Price

If you buy it from them through the portal :

ebates.com, you get 5% off
spree.com, you get 4% off

Got one yesterday at CompUSA. If you live in a large city, call up CompUSA and ask for the SKEW#. They have a tracking computer that will tell you the location of the nearest store that has some in stock. I had to drive past 2 other stores (only about 15 miles) to find one. It was interesting in that the salespeople at Comp didn't know what I was talking about. I had to give them the SKEW number and tell them they had six in stock -- before they would go and look.

Posted by Nhatman on 02-26-2001 07:59 PM:

you could also just go to www.compusa.com and enter the sku number (280529) and enter your zip code in the "find in-store" field and it'll tell you which stores near you have them in stock or not.
