Question

i cant seem to get my visor to hotsync at all! I'm running Win95, I checked my 2 USB ports in the device manager and they seem ok.
How do I check the BIOS? If thats ok, is there some USB driver, or , well, anything i can install to get this to work? I'd rather not buy win98 just for the visor. any insight anyone can offer? please

win 95 USB support is scam, you can try all you want. Your only solution is to buy a serial or upgrade to 98.

I have the same Win95 problem, BUT I disagree about the overall lack of USB support in Win95. I have no problem with other USB devices - just the Visor cradle.
Now what?

Thumbs down

Believe it baby, Win95 has some USB support but definately not all...

If you want to waste your time please try to get you cradle working on win95. While you're at it make it work on NT4 too...

The only logical sollution is to upgrade like it or not...

i tried using the USB cradle on a Compaq running win95 and USB support. It didn't work so i emailed tech support at Handspring and they emailed back saying Win95 with USB support was not going to work. I needed Win98. SO i went and bought the 80 dollar win98 upgrade and it works fine now.
