I just saw the edge upgrade program and I think that its a great idea. I was wondering if anyone out there had seen a cover or case for the edge that can be used effectively with the springboard module sled attached?

I just bought a 16MB springboard and I want to use this all the time but I want to have a cover for the screen.

Any help is appreciated..

I haven't seen anything yet. Does anyone know Vaja's plans WRT an edge case?

I just saw the Edge trade up program too. Having just got my Edge a couple of weeks ago, and swapping out a defective one just last week. I called to see if I could trade in my old Newton, and the short answer was - no.

You have to purchase an Edge thru their webstore, from today to 7/31. The only option I would have is to return my Edge (since it's still w/in the 30 return period), and reorder one, then send in my Newton.

I'm debating on if I should hassle with it. The main downside would be the time I'd be w/o my Edge in the mean time. I don't know if being w/out my PDA for even a few days would be worth $100. But $100 is $100.

Are there any other recent Edge purchasers out there that are thinking about doing this?

I was actually considering using the serial number from my Ice VDx to get another Edge at $299 and seeing if I could sell it on eBay.

Wrong Forum for this question, this is a forum about edge cases not the edge rebate program. There is a forum at http://discussion.visorcentral.com/...ght=edge+rebate or http://discussion.visorcentral.com/...ght=edge+rebate that covers this topic.
