I tried to install the patch with no luck.
Here is the Log
- Invalid handheld file deleted: C:\Palm\airun\Install\XmaUpdater.prc
OK Install with 1 message(s)

Anyone else see this?

I didn't have any trouble installing the update...

No problems here. I haven't tried the modem yet with the patch installed - only digital lines here at work.

Fixed

Not real sure what the deal was but I downloaded file using IE (netscape 4.76 try #1) and everything worked fine. Go figure..

Netscape is known to have a problem that corrupts .PRC files during downloads... that's probably what happened on your first attempt.

Side question: Can you delete the "SP Updater" program on the handheld once you update the modem? Or is it necessary to run the modem after the update is installed?

(BTW, I loved the flash update. Wish Handspring would do some of that....)

I am pretty sure I read on another thread that it is ok to delete the "SP Updater" after it has been flashed.
