Does anyone have any idea when shipping info will be posted on the handspring site? I am sure that all the bigwigs at HS check these posting? Will any info be available at Internet World this week?

No one knows yet, or at least no one is telling. Everything up until now has led people to believe that there will be a mid-october ship date and that the order confirmations will go out immediately prior to it. So likely the confirmations won't go out for at least a week unless they move the ship date up. I would bet that there will be a major update to the Handspring wite this week though, even if the online order system isn't up.

The problem with all this is that the reps are giving out conflicting information, and no one knows what to believe. My rep told me they hoped to start shipping the end of last week, which I think was completely erroneous since most reps said mid-October.

My advice is to sit tight and wait for hard evidence that something is happening...and don't be too sad if it takes a few weeks.

Keep The Faith, and your fingers and toes crossed, I sent a direct e-mail to HS. Any bets if I receive an answer?
