-- Can't get digitizer to calebrate entire screen (http://discussion.visorcentral.com/vcforum/showthread.php?threadid=10201)
I am unable to get the lower left corner of my screen and the area to the left of the graffiti area (program and menu icons) to respond properly to my stylus. The Visor (Platinum) seems to think I am tapping about 3/16" to the right of where I actually am taping. I have repeatedly tried to recalibrate the digitizer using the preference application but it does not help. The rest of the screen (everything to the right of center or above the graffiti area and the bottom 3/4" of the screen) functions just fine. I have tried a soft re-set as well with no success. The problem is there both with and without my screensaver in place or hackmaster utilities installed.
Any suggestions on how can I get the bottom left side of my screen to function properly? Anyone else out there having this problem? Is is a defect I should have repaired under warrantee or am I just not doing something right?

This sounds similar to a problem I had last month with my Deluxe. A small area near the upper left corner would read about a quarter inch to the right of where I was pressing. Playing with Teal Paint Lite I drew a few straight vertical parallel lines free hand. This was my result:

I ended up calling Handspring's Technical Support. They had me: re-Digitize, soft reset, firm reset (holding the page up key), and then finally hard reset, all to no avail. So they sent me a replacement. Luckily it was still under warranty, by three weeks.
I had the exact same issue, got the same reply from support, and got my replacement visor last week.
