Do a search on InnoDrive or read VisorCentral's Comdex coverage.

Just to keep it simple I always thought of a yen as a penny. Just divide by 100, will not be 100% correct but will be in the ball park, more or less 8o)

Not quite. Like the Sony Clie and Dave Kessler's CF Adatpter, the TRG Pro uses an "automover" to move the application from the CF card into RAM whenever you run it.

NOTE: Dave's FAAutoMover does not yet exist. Last I heard he hopes to release it sometime in the first quarter of next year.

Just wanted to mention that Dave's software, while in beta, is running very well. No it isn't the automover and has some limitations and bug or two of course but he is getting very close to a commercial product.

I am happy with the software even as is with just a file copier and have been using it on my Prism for sometime.

It has been very usefull and I don't mind copying files over myself though it will be great though once he gets some of the better features installed. Like moving files together that are from the same application so you can say move say a game and it will copy the game and all database files all by itself. Nice to have 64 megs of data handy 8o)

I tell you I give the guy a lot of credit, he has been working very hard giving us an option that we simply did not have before.

Now Dave just has to get that darn subdirectory part in there so I can have more files to play with

16MB is out in Japan!

The 16MB Flash springboard has been out in Japan for the past couple of weeks. Only a few shops have them and they are going for about 15900yen (About 140 bucks...or so).

Thumbs up Man...I really need a 16mb module

The extra 8mb of memory would be ideal for all of my medical references. Do these people have a website?

I sent them some E-Mail and here is what they said:

16Mb Flash Moduel for Handspring Visor
What happen to this product is it for sale or will it be for sale and if so when?

Thank you for your mail.
Handspring is on the process of final review of our product
so it won't take so long time.
It will be available by Mid of January and start
distribution through palmgear.com.

Thank you for your patience.

Best regards,

MOTO

So with any luck i will be able to sell two 2Mb and one 8Mb and get a 16Mb and carry around all my games and books on one module, now that will be great

Cool Thanks Herkimer!!

That was really helpful, I guess the company in Japan is going for the "Gold Standard Module". I can't wait, I have two 8mb modules and have to switch back and forth, now I can carry everything in one module.

On a side note, there are two companies in Hong Kong and Singapore who are attempting to upgrade the Prism and Palatium to 16mb's. Actually, the Hong Kong Company has already done it, but offers only in-office upgrades according to the email reply I got. The Singapore people replied that they are in the process of trying to upgrade the Prism.

Imagine, a 16mb Prism/Palatium with a 16mb module that's some heavy storage--> 32mb's on a Palm devise!! I don't think I could even fill them.

Has anyone uncovered a Japanese vendor currently selling the 16mb Hagiwara module. I have only located one and they are only taking reservations (15,680 Yen) as of today. Here is the URL with translation if anyone is interested:
