Any of you out there use the Yahoo channel with AvantGo?

I am having problems with my personalized Yahoo channel's settings synching with AvantGo. I have my weather set to pick up four cities. But everytime I sync, Yahoo syncs the "default" cities, like Chicago, London, etc. etc. And sometimes it fails to sync my local movie listings as well. What's with the unpredictability of this channel? Any tips would be helpful...

I never 'Sign Out' of My Yahoo on my Visor's AvantGo channel and I see what I expect.

From time to time in the past (perhaps with ver 3.3), I did indeed notice some very outdated news in the customized sports *articles* section.

Your best bet is to never take yahoo of your sync to avantgo. I dont like yahoo's weather i use the weather chanel..butt my stocks on yahoo are ok. i cant get my sports to work right,
and movies are kick booty cause Vindigo doesnt have the movie theaters for the outskirts of chicago. but every onece and awhile i hve to sign in on yahoo i still dont know why?
but good luck and dont forget i take my green pills in the morning and the yellow in the afternoon

I experienced the exact same problems. Things seem to have clear up now but it was very irritating. I basically logged out and then logged into Yahoo.

It's still a pain doing e-mail with yahoo mail -- and I have frequent issues with manipulating e-mail - especially deleting.

Yahoo worked with AvantGo like for the first 2 weeks, after that, only Weather, Stocks and Sports worked. The News was always empty.

My news never updates. I'm using other channels now.. don't use yahoo as much anymore.. MSNBC!!

in the past i remember people having similar problems...if memory serves me correct, somebody received an email from either avantgo or yahoo stating that users with login names that contained numbers or strange characters would experience this annoying problem. otherwise, i'm not sure what would be causing the problem.

i've been using the yahoo channel on avantgo for about 16 months now without a problem.

My apologies if this has been asked before, but is anybody else's Yahoo channel showing up with an asterisk (*) before "Yahoo" in the channel list? It wasn't doing that a few weeks ago. I assume they are doing that to bump it up to the top of the channel list?

It was but this morning did not.
