-- Concept Kitchen Bumper Case (http://discussion.visorcentral.com/vcforum/showthread.php?threadid=3441)
Is anyone using the Bumper case with a Visor..? It looks like it would be good in terms of drop protection and it has a flip up screen cover (like the PalmIII has built in) but I'm not convinced it fits the Visor. I've seen a web site that says it does, but Concept Kitchen's own site doesn't mention the Visor in relation to this case. (They do mention the Visor elsewhere, so they do know about it...)
If anyone can give me their opinion of it - I'd be glad to hear it...
The ideal case still eludes me.....
I thought these sounded like great cases when they came out a few months back; however I finally saw one in person just a few days ago. Best Buy is now carrying them, and I had the clerk take the case out of the display and let me have a look.
My thoughts:
-Doesn't look near as protective when viewed in person.
-I put my brother's Palm IIIx into it with much difficulty (I might have been doing it worng, but I sure don't know how else I could've done it.) I didn't even consider trying it on my Visor for size. It certainly wouldn't be sync friendly.
-It is fairly big, and made of what feels like car-tire rubber. As such, it might just be the worst possible choice for putting into a pants pocket. It would be a tight fit, and would have LOTS of friction.
And with no belt clip, pants pocket it would have to be for me...no thanks.
To sum up my mini-review, my thoughts after handling the case were, "Man, what were they thinking?" But then, people buy WinCE devices all the time.

Thanks Tyler,
I was hoping someone had seen them in person. It looked the kind of thing that was either going to be ideal or as you said, a "what were they thinking" product.
Ah well, the search continues...
I contacted concept kitchen about their bumber case and they said that the Visor would NOT fit in it.
