-- PPP over USB? Maybe No (http://discussion.visorcentral.com/vcforum/showthread.php?threadid=3836)

I've contacted MochaSoft about their "Mocha W32 PPP" product which allows a Palm to connect via PPP to the internet.

The response I got back was:

"I am not so sure it will be possible, as to the design of the Visor. If/when
they start selling the Visor in Europe, I will try to find a solution. For the
moment we concentrate our effort on the real palm devices."

I tend to believe it is possible as I've heard stories of it being done on Linux with such utilties as LinkUSB.

So, who can send them a Visor?

I knew it!!! I knew that my Visor was fake!!! Now I wish that I had bought a REAL Palm device (running PalmOS and such)...

I guess the TRGPro and the upcoming Sony PDA are also no REAL Palm devices...

I got about the same type of response from them when I inquired about a fix using their "Pocket Telnet" with a StowAway keyboard (Program works fine with Graffiti, but typing is too slow with the keyboard).

Even with the "Real Palm's" they had not come across a StowAway yet.
