No wired Ethernet or PC Card modules!
It's a shame that there are no wired Ethernet or PC Card (PCMCIA) modules available. PC Card modules would be required to have there own power source in all likelihood. The Pocket PC world doesn't have these glaring omissions.
Many hotels have high-speed Internet service available, but usually require wired Ethernet connections.
Right now, I'm disappointed with the types of SpringBoard modules available. There seems to be few exciting SpringBoard modules in development. The introduction of the Treo could signal the death knell for SpringBoard module development. The wireless Treo is rumored not to feature a SpringBoard slot.

will
I agree that the lack of a wired Ethernet module seems odd. Wireless is great but I don't believe it's ready for the masses yet. Give me a wired module and I'd be happy as a clam at work, home, and on the road. If and when wireless becomes more mainstream and affordable, I'd be more than willing to give up the trusty old copper wire.

unfortunately that's why i predominantly use my handera. i bought my prism under the assumption that zircom was close to releasing their wired ethernet module which they eventually ditched.
i was close to going to a pocket pc before i found out about the trh/handeras supporting cf ethernet. it works great. i use it for vnc, telnet, network diagnostics.
i still use my prism for games and anything that must be colorized but the h330 is my number one unit by far.
wireless is the future, but it will be some time before that future is realized. mine and most networks are still wired and will continue to be for some time.
While I don't have one, Portsmith's ethernet cradle might satisfy your need, http://www.portsmith.com/pspda.shtml

Rock
Portsmith's ethernet cradle is very cool, but it's a bit of a pain having to carry around a cradle everywhere you go when there's a springboard available.
It may be very cool, but at $199, it's not that cool. You can get PCI ethernet cards for less than $20 now that are less than 1/3 the height of a regular expansion card (saw one at Sam's Club the other day). Why can't someone put that into a springboard form factor for a reasonable price?
Wireless may be neat, but at the hospital I work at, wireless anything is a long way away (our IT dept only migrated users off Win311 a couple of years ago), and ethernet ports are ubiquitous everywhere I need to be connected. Give us wired ethernet now someone!!!
