-- Size of Springboard Modules compared to CompactFlash Cards (http://discussion.visorcentral.com/vcforum/showthread.php?threadid=3437)
Which is bigger? I know some Modules like the 6-pak extend out but I'm talking about the ones that JUST fit in (like the cover that comes with the visor). I am wondering this because if the Springboard Modules are bigger, they probably could hold more space that the compactflash cards!! A 340 Meg Springboard Module would be GREAT!!
I believe Compact Flash cards are smaller than the Springboard.
The SixPack doesn't expand out from the back or up, so it doesn't alter the demensions any. One would suspect that if you can fit everything thats in the six pack that that they'll eventually come out with larger modules. Maybe even an adapter for other storage formats like Compact Flsh would be possible?
As for the 320mb card from IBM, they're battery consumptions is horrible because they have moving parts. Another company has a model with no moving parts but it goes for about $1,500.
