Help With Synching Platinum and Palm 3XE

I have a Palm 3XE that sychs with outlook 2000 fine (my wifes) and I want to synch my Platinum with the same profile(calender, address etc) I get an error when I try to synch the platinum saying (See help topic: syncing multiple handhelds to the same profile) but I'll be dammed if I can find it.

Any help here would be appreciated. BTW the palm is on the serial cradle and the platinum of course is on the USB.
