How do I clear my edge so I can sell it
Ok, I lost as to how I did this the last time and I just want to get my old edge cleared of my information so I can sell it. So what is the process.
Thanks
Dang I'm dumb, just found it in my manual. Guess I've worked way too much today. On top of that trying to learn the Axim's ins and outs.
Re: How do I clear my edge so I can sell it
Doing a hard reset should clear everything (hold the Power button while pressing reset).

Ok, the directions say to press the power button and then press the reset. when the warning message appears press the scroll button up.
I've tried that and it doesnt work. I've tried pressing the power button when its on and starting when its off. Now I do feel like a moron
Arrrrgh they didnt print 1 step. first release the reset button then the power, at that time it asks if you want to reset. Thanks for the help.

the copy of the Edge manual I have here clearly states (pg 236):quote:
To perform a hard reset:
1. Hold down the power button on the front panel of the handheld.
2. While holding down the power button, use the reset tool (or
similar object without a sharp tip) to gently press the reset button.
3. Release the power button.
4. When a message appears on the handheld screen warning that you
are about to erase all the data stored on your handheld, do one of
the following:...
