-- Which WriteRights? (http://discussion.visorcentral.com/vcforum/showthread.php?threadid=3246)
Which WriteRights do I use for the Visor? Palm III ones? I also read somewhere here that windows CE ones fit even better... I'd like to be prepared if my visor ever comes in..

ConceptKitchen, the WriteRight vendor, recommend the use of Palm III WriteRights for the Visor.
I went to go buy the PalmIII Writerights, but BestBuy was out of them, so I opened up a package of WinCE kind, and they fit perfectly (1/16th inch gap around the edge). Never having seen the PalmIII version, I don't know if 1/16th inch gap is not normal. But, bottom line is they work for me.
I'd reccommend against getting the ones at best buy in the yellow cardboard case.
There's a 3 piece cardboard that folds out and there's a slot in the middle of the last one where the covers are kept. Well, since the covers due to gravity and pressure rest along the slot, it leaves a mark on the protectors that is VERY visible when you put them on the screen. It ruins all 12 of them. I returned a box and told the guy at best buy "I'm going to open these right in front of you (once I exchanged them) because I'll probably end up returning these too." Sure enough, they were messed up.
I went to staples who had them for $5 more but in DVD cases.. There was a slight dimple in them due to the part that holds the dvd, but when applied they were fine.
I believe that the people who make WriteRights have no idea how to package their products and I expect to write them sometime soon. BTW I got the Palm III ones and there is a slight border on the left and right.. maybe 1/2 mm on both sides.. nothing big.
I got the ones for PalmIII/PalmPilot, etc, and they fit great! Also--no problems with the yellow cardboard box!
