-- Whats a "PQA" ??? (http://discussion.visorcentral.com/vcforum/showthread.php?threadid=9222)
I have had my Visor Delux for almost a year now and have read most of the (interesting) post on VisorCentral.
But I must admit I have totally missed any description of a PQA.
What is a PQA?
How do you use/read one (ie. does it require another application?)
Thanks
I'm in the dark....
Palm Query Application? Thats a guess.:-)
They came out winth the Palm 7 oops VII. Basically its a way to get information from the internet with the low bandwidth of a cellular connection like the VII.
To use it, you need a more updated palm OS than that which comes with the visor and visor deluxe.

Happy Treo 600 user, so far. Thanx Cingular for having an unlocked phone.
My Treo 600 is my phone, my PDA, my watch, and my MP3 player. Oh yeah, I take a picture once in a while with it. Convergence is such a great thing.
PQA's are indeed Palm Query Apps for lack of a better acronym. They are small applets rather than applications that take up very little room on the unit. They are basically "url" or internet addresses that are prestored on the device and jump you right to that web site that normally is "web clipped" so that you don't get all of the graphics.

I'll add my bit. Anyone with OS3.3 or later can run a PQA, if you happen to have a wireless modem or even a normal Handspring modem.
However, you need to have the web clipping libaries installed first, though.
There's another thread here on this with more details, but for the life of me I can't find it right now.
