VDX does NOT ship with OS 3.5

I was wrong. VDX does not ship with OS 3.5.

but i have never seen one

I don't think that handspring would do that. One of the big things that the Platnium has going for it is that it has OS 3.5 on it. Maybe Handspring has created yet another version of 3.1 for the Deluxe, but I highly doubt that they have completly upgraded the ROM chip.

Wouldn't it make sense to use the same chips in all there devices instead of having two different versions of the rom chip one the the deluxe and solo and one for the platinum and prism? Maybe there just waiting till the roms with 3.1 are used up then they'll put the roms with 3.5 in the deluxe and solo also. BTW i thought the major thing the platinum had going for it was a faster proc.

I bought my VDX directly from Handspring about two weeks ago...it came with 3.1.

So I guess we need to put the source on the floor...

Where can we find the same spec sheet that said the Visor Deluxe now ships with 3.5?

I wish I could remember, I've been checking...anyway, it must have been a misprint because all the "key" sites say OS 3.1 (CDW, Insight, Staples). Looks like the only way to get OS 3.5 is to get a Platinum and live with the screen flicker/streaking with images.
