Question

Has anyone tried this stylus? There are only four posts in the review section and three don't look too good. Does anyone else have any experience with this stylus? Any recommendations on a good pen/stylus that fits the silo? Handspring's pen stylus looks good, but it doesn't look like you can replace the ink.

I have it, but am not too impressed. It doesn't fit too well into the silo, the pen is not too great, and the entire thing just strikes me as a cheap knockoff off the PDA Panache, which I highly recommend. I've also used Handspring's pen stylus, and don't especially like it. Unless you need a pen stylus, go to pdapanache.com and order yourself a custom visor stylus.

Cool

Raphael, thanks for the input.

Marcus, with the current Visormeter poll showing that most people would by a stylus from VisorCentral, is there any talk of you guys putting out a stylus anytime soon. If so, would you try to make it a pen stylus?

Angry

I got the iPoint stylus/pen combination, and I kind of liked it, until I discovered that the reset pin wasn't long enough.

I contacted the manufacturer, and they said that all I needed to do was send it back and they would fix it so that the reset pin would be long enough, they did.

Unfortunately, it is now long enough that it is dipping into the ink in the pen. If I needed to use the reset pin I would need to wipe off the excess ink either onto my fingers or onto a cloth before I felt comfortable using it.

Personally, I think they released it too soon. They need to go back to the drawing board.

I'm kind of so-so about the product. The metal can get slipery and because it's so narrow, you feel like you're going to lose it. I only use the pen if I don't have any other pen on me. I did get the replacement that had the long enough reset pin and that works fine. I don't have any issues with it getting ink on it.

I guess if you're looking for a sleek replacement to the free stylus and want some increased functionality, get it. I'll probably buy something else when the ink runs out.

Enjoy yourself, or someone else if they'll let you.
