First pictures of the Digital-5?
hmmm...it'll be tough for me to decide between this and the supposed InnoPak/voice that might be coming out.
Judging by the poll, not many of us are interested in a voice recorder, but i know i am as it will round out my use for the visor nicely!
i can't get the image to show up...

It'll be interesting to see how a dedicated voice recorder module will fare in the marketplace, considering how many people will be getting the SixPak and the MiniJam, both of which do voice recording. If an InnoPak voice recorder/flash memory module came out now, I'd buy one for $39.95. But I think the window of opportunity is closing fast.

I agree...however, the MiniJam won't let you use the Visor cover and the SixPac just has more than i (and possibly others) want to pay for.
I like the fact that the Digital-5 can be used outside of the Visor and when you re-insert it, a list of all the messages you recorded appears on the screen!
There are times when the visor is awkward to carry in my pocket, but a module would be small enough!

Even better would be the ability to "upload" particular voice recordings for conversion to .WAV files and/or to use ViaVoice conversion software to transcribe the recordings.
I would love to be able to record certain meetings and have a rough transcription created from it. Not to mention the ability to save the meeting to my hard drive.
thanks potter...couldn't figure it out but now i see why..
that would be a neat feature...seeing that the Digital-5 does have a 'skin' on the visor to look at the recorded messages...i wonder if it would be possible to include a conduit that would upload those recordings to your desktop in .wav format!
hmmm...should we email Digital-5?
