Is it worth buying an eyemodule if you only have 1MB of memory to work with?
I only needed a 2MB visor. The eyemodule would be fun if it could store 4 to 5 pics.
Depends on how much 'free' memory you have. The eyemodule application will install itself on your handheld when you first insert the eyemodule. This application takes up 67K of RAM.
The small B&W images (160x120) take up 9K each.
The large B&W images (320x240) take up 37K each.
The large color images (320x240) take up 187K each.
I would guess that you could probably hold a few images. The docs say only that you need a 'Handspring Visor' to use the eyemodule, they later go on to say how many photos can be held on a Visor Deluxe (so they do know the difference between the two handhelds).
From PalmGear:
"A Visor Deluxe with 5 MB free memory can hold more than 500 black & white images (at 160x120 pixels), over 125 large black images (320x240 pixels) or over 25 color images (color images are gray scale when viewed on the visor, 320x240 pixels). A 2 MB Visor will hold approx 1/4 the above"
