Just wondering if anyone has received (or know that their's has shipped) their Visor/Minstrel modem case from ebcases.com?

I Love My Prism!

I just spoke with a rep from E & B and he said they have not yet received their first shipment of these cases from their manufacturing plant. He said they normally receive their shipments from the plant on Mondays and Thursdays and the cases weren't on today's shipment. Hopefully they will be on Thursdays's shipment!

Man, they take a helluva long time to ship. It took two weeks to get into the system and then now that I can input the tracking number... it will have to arrive at their location and then be shipped out to us?

This isn't the 10-15 days they stated earlier. Maybe 15 - 20 days.

Here's an email I got from Mike E of E & B earlier today:

"Hi Marty:

We started shipping them against the backlog orders we had. We expect another shipment this week that may get us out of the backlog. If you have already placed your order, we should be shipping it out later this week, or early next week.

Please let me know if I can be of further help.

At least they are responsive to my emails...sent that one out and received that reply 10 minutes later!

P.S. The website actually says 10-15 business days so unfortunately, they are still within that time frame (for me anyways since I placed my order April 5th)

I spoke with a rep at E&B who says the visor/prism + minstrel modem cases are due in today (thursday) and they expect to ship them either on friday or monday...finally!

Mine shipped standard on Friday and I was extremely surprised and pleased to receive it Saturday. It's a well-made case, but is a little looser than I thought. The holes for the power button, charge light, Minstrel lights, etc., are all well-placed, although since the case is a bit loose the cutouts shift a bit. The leather is good quality and the flip cover has a nice stiffness to it. The belt clip is one of the better ones I've used - the little hook at the bottom of the clip recesses into the other half of the clip, completely enclosing the belt, and making it more secure.

Overall, I'm very pleased and can now get rid of that cheezy Visor slipcase. I just have to figure out what to do with the cell phone antenna I use [which I could carry in the slipcase with the Prism] in place of the useless stub.

Just received my prism/minstrel cases from E & B and am pleased to report that it is everything I expected it to be. The craftsmanship is exquisite...it hugs the prism/minstrel just right and all the cutouts line up perfectly with the appropriate lights/buttons. The case has just the right amount of padding, not too thick and not too thin. This case was well worth the wait!
